HOUSTON TRAFFIC CRIME CAMPAIGN – FEELING LUCKY?
We’re working with several non-profit organizations along with the Houston Police Department and about 16 other local law enforcement agencies to create the, “Feeling Lucky?” campaign to reduce DWI and other traffic crime. Our billboards are popping up all over town and you can view some of the public service announcements we’ve created at www.texas-pictures.com/psa. Check them out if you have a chance. We’d welcome any input or ideas you may have to make this effort a success.
STREAMING VIDEOS FOR HP
One of several projects we’ve been working on with Mike Crum as part of VMDnet was customer testimonial and other interview based videos for HP that are achieving outstanding results. And, the streaming solution we provide delivers outstanding clarity and stability without the typical bandwidth demands. You can view the clips at http://h71028.www7.hp.com/enterprise/cache/441584-0-0-225-121.html. Just explore the link. This same style of presenting customer comments and expert perspectives fits well with virtually any industry.
FIRST ANNIVERSARY
April 21st marked the first anniversary for Texas Pictures. That first year was much more than just a success for us, it was a great time. We expanded into some new markets, came up with some new production techniques, built more valuable relationships with clients, and we managed to develop more comprehensive and thoughtful methods for helping clients achieve their goals. It has been a blast, and we are certainly looking forward to next year being an even better time.
THE BIG PICTURE
Our capabilities are constantly growing with technology so it would be silly to list every upgrade, expansion or improvement we make, but now and then we add a capability that merits mentioning. We now have the capability, training and experience to produce in IMAX. We’re not expecting a rush of clients wanting to produce in this expensive format, but what a cool thing to have in our bag of tricks.
